Unless you have been living under a rock or chosen the life of a hermit, you will know that world events can make us feel that we are out of control. We need to take a step back and remind ourselves of the profound effect simple acts of kindness can have on the lives around us. A smile, a helping hand, a kind word or time to listen to another´s troubles – because they are important to them – all these simple acts have the power to create a ripple effect that can make a significant difference to the lives of others.
If we are treated with kindness, it is more likely that we, in turn, will treat others the same way. Being able to help another person doesn’t have to require grand gestures. It is the small everyday actions that can mean the most.
All too often our differences are emphasised, but acts of kindness remind us of our shared humanity and the importance of treating each other with respect and compassion.
Age Concern Marbella – San Pedro have been at the hub of our community for the past 6 years. It is built on fun and friendship and kindness and compassion.

Our amazing volunteers are also taking a holiday break over the Christmas period. The Social centre will be closed BUT our Helpline will still be open, (excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Three King’s day).
